QLAMaster LTD is a UK‑based education‑technology start‑up. We are currently in the pilot phase.

2. Data we process today (pilot stage)
- Uploaded files: Excel or CSV QLA spreadsheets you choose to upload. Files are processed in memory to generate PDFs; no copy is stored and everything is deleted automatically after processing.
- Basic usage metrics: We collect anonymous page‑view counts (no IP addresses or cookies) to understand feature usage.
3. Data we do not process
- No permanent storage of student names, emails, or marks.
- No behavioural advertising or third‑party trackers.
- No cookies except an essential session cookie (expires on browser close).
4. Security
• All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2+.
• Processing runs on UK‑hosted servers in ISO 27001‑certified data centres.
• Administrative access is protected by multi‑factor authentication and audit logging.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Looking ahead
When QLAMaster moves beyond the free pilot (after September 2025) and begins storing user accounts or student data we will:
- Publish a full Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA).
- Define data‑retention periods and lawful basis for processing.
- List any sub‑processors and international transfer safeguards.
- Offer a Data‑Processing Agreement (DPA) for schools and MATs.
